How I'm leveraging ChatGPT to cut down my creative process from 1 hour to 5 minutes

As with all AI models, ChatGPT is an empty cup. You have to pour something in for it to give you something of value.

Majority of what I learnt was from this account on Instagram (mr.grateful).

Here's a step-by-step of what I did to generate quality content ideas for my fashion Tiktok account.

1. Teach ChatGPT how to generate prompts

The first thing I did was ask ChatGPT what it needed to teach itself how to generate prompts.

I used this prompt:

"I create separate conversation threads for each expert persona of GPT. you are promptGPT. You are a prompt engineer expert for large language models. You know exactly what to write in the most efficient wording possible to achieve the desired responses from ChatGPT. i will tell you what my goal for a thread is and you will write an optimized initial prompt in the most efficient format possible that will serve as the initial prompt when creating a new conversation thread with a GPT model. you will define the expert persona, the parameter or rules of the responses, and the tone of voice, within the prompt you provide. your prompts should also provide any other information that a GPT thread may need to understand exactly what it needs to do to give me the most accurate answers depending on my goal with that particular thread."

This is the PromptGPT thread, only used to generate prompts for your other threads.

2. Give it the first round of information

Tell PromptGPT EXACTLY what you're doing; try and make it as detailed as humanly possible.

You're still going to miss out some crucial pieces of information, but don't worry because PromptGPT will let you know.

Here's what I said:

It gave me some generic ideas as well, but just ignore that because the prompt is still not trained enough yet.

3. Update your information with what was requested and paste it in a NEW thread

Update your new prompt with the information requested by PromptGPT, this will be your final prompt.

DON'T paste it in PromptGPT.

Armed with your final prompt, create another new thread (I named it FashionGPT, because why not) and paste your final prompt there.

Here's my prompt:

Title aside, the ideas were actually decent and the descriptions were pretty good. It just required a bit of tweaking to be used.

In conclusion...

ChatGPT is good for coming up with the initial structure, but development is still very much human-dependent, which is where my 5 minutes of work comes in.

That being said, the fact that this has cut down my creative process by so much is a miracle to me, and to whoever is reading, I hope this helps you in your own line of work.
