How to identify your Values?

Values are a part of us. They highlight what we stand for. They can represent our unique, individual essence.
Values guide our behavior, providing us with a personal code of conduct.
When we honor our personal core values consistently, we experience fulfillment.
When we don’t, we are incongruent and are more likely to escape into bad habits and regress into poor behavior to uplift ourselves.
The below questions will help you identify your 3 core values
- Whom do you admire? List three of that person’s admirable qualities.
- Describe an incident or event from which you learned a lesson “the hard way!” what were the three key learnings
- What are the three things you will change about yourself to become a better person?
- What three qualities do you value in a friend? A teacher? A parent?

4 年Hi Ashish - Great Initiative - I would like to add some value framework I designed earlier for our company. Though it has few organizational values, they do add some value for this post as Organisation is ultimately a group of individual professionals - ETHICS - E - Everyone Respect Each Other, T - Teamwork is the key to success, H - High Performance rewarded, I - Initiative for continuous Improvement, C - Customer is the king, S - Supreme Skills Acquired.

4 年Ethics (as a Tata Alumnus) is The Core. Keeping my core intact, I am focussing on three values in my entrepreneurial journey; 1. A Determination to Build Content/knowledge that helps me to stay relevant. 2. The confidence to approach every task with a “burn it” attitude 3.
