SCENARIO No. 1 - PEOPLE DON'T LIKE YOUR POSTS ANYMORE
Variant A - YOU ACTUALLY DO NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM
If your impression rates keep dropping, do not panic yet. You might notice that interactions towards you (likes and comments) are the same as they were.
And a number of people who viewed your profile also did not fall. So what is happening?
LinkedIn algorithm has learned how to deliver your content to people who will really read it.
Thus you have less impressions, but more of those people who had a chance to pay attention to you actually did so.
Variant B - YES, YOU HAVE A HUGE ISSUE
If all of those stats are dropping even though you are publishing pretty much the same number of posts, then it most probably means that you have actually bored your followers.
Do you keep publishing the same topics with the same kinds of hooks and illustrations?
Well, the first time we saw them, we might have been impressed. But now we are just bored and skip them.
Change. A lot!
SCENARIO No. 2 - YOU GOT REAL INFLUENCE ON LINKEDIN BUT NO BUSINESS FROM IT
Well, that might mean that you are waiting for people to send you their demands. Yeah, that does not happen here much. You need to identify your real relevant fans and address them first in a nonpushy yet direct manner.
What would that look like?
For example:
"Hi George, would you be interested in meeting me to discuss digitalization and automation in your company?"

3 个月Very informative. In case of Scenario No1 Variant A. Does it make sense, to broaden the topic a bit to gain new raised attention? Or the job is done here and just keep growing in a slower pace? ??
