User: "Hey, I need to find out which vendor invoices are marked for settlement but haven’t been processed yet. Since we’re in the trading industry, we handle a high volume of invoices, making it hard to track. Is there a quick way to identify pending settlements in D365 F&O?"
Consultant: "Good question! In the trading industry, where you have hundreds or thousands of invoices daily, manually tracking settlements can be overwhelming. But D365 F&O has a few tools to simplify this. Are you looking for a report for all vendors or just a specific one?"
User: "A report for all vendors would be ideal. We need visibility into pending settlements to avoid delays in payments."
Consultant: "Got it. The best way to track marked but unprocessed invoices is through the Settlement Transactions Inquiry. Here’s how you can do it efficiently:
Settle Transactions Form (For Individual Vendors)
? Go to: Accounts payable > Vendors > All vendors ? Select the vendor and click Transactions ? Click Settle transactions to view invoices that are marked but not yet settled
User: "That’s useful! But with our high invoice volume, manually checking each vendor is still challenging. Can we automate this?"
Settlement Transactions Inquiry (For All Vendors)
? Go to: Accounts payable > Periodic Task> Marked Transactions for Vendors.
Click on Marked Transactions for vendor.
Select the Company account, vendor or any filter you want.
Click ok.
