How I Went From 0% to 30% Sales Conversion Rate

Alright guys, it's time to talk about.... SALES. ??
In the word of sales, peoples strive to get and maintain about 20%-30% conversion rate.
I wanted to share with you what actually shifted for me when I went from 0% to 30% conversion rate over a year ago, and what shifted when I went from 30% to 70% this year. ??
1 sentence pretty much sums it up: Coming from a place of service.
That's literally it! Not tactics, not sneaky sales schemes, none of that.
I spent years sucking at sales. I couldn't even get a free trial client. ?? (Imagine no one letting you work for them for free. lol!)
? Then I made a mental shift from, "I really want to make a sale. I need money. I can't pay the bills until I start getting clients. I need to prove myself and show everyone I can do this business thing."
? To, "The successful Amanda wouldn't be thinking these things. She wouldn't be obsessed with the money, because she already has money. The goal is not to make a sale. The goal is to help this person I am on the phone with. Just like I've helped others before with no expectation of anything in return. I just want to see if I can help. It isn't about me."
After making that shift, I went from not being able to get a single client, to getting 5 clients in 24 hours!!! ??
The thing is, your prospects can tell, whether consciously or subconsciously, that you care about them. (Or don't. lol) If you care about them and their success, they will be all in. If you just care about the sale, they will not buy from you unless your price is crazy cheap.
I say this all the time - Those who try to make money make nothing. Those who try to help others and provide value make all the money.
As for how I got to 70%... I'll post that another day. Stay tuned. ??
