How I Use Custom GPTs on ChatGPT

You've probably heard that there is a huge amount of progress being made in the AI large language model space (think ChatGPT, 谷歌 Gemini, Meta 's Llama 2, etc.). My dream someday is to use one of these services as my super capable mostly autonomous assistant. "Ava (obviously my AI assistant name), book a flight to Hilton Head, book me three tee times on consecutive days, book my stay at a nice resort, call 3 restaurants make reservations for two, and book my wife 3 spa appointments. Also, give me 10 random things to do and recommend times of day to do them." Y'all, WE ARE SO CLOSE TO THIS. I can feel it.

One big step towards this that I don't see mentioned on Linkedin very much is GPTs from OpenAI . GPTs are custom agents that can be trained and curated to make API requests and get info/perform actions on outside websites. Here's an example of how I used the KAYAK GPT the other day.

The kayak GPT then feeds me exactly what I want with links to book directly! It wasn't autonomous yet but thanks to this GPT, my weekend got to look like this!

Booking travel is one cool agent that exists but another GPT that I LOVE is called Consensus . It's a GPT that's trained on 200 million peer-reviewed medical and academic papers. I constantly ask this GPT questions such as, "What is the most optimal brain health stack of supplements for a healthy 27-year-old male?" With this tool, I either confirm or debunk a lot of experiments I'm trying with my health.

And finally, one of the coolest GPTs I've been playing with is called Data Analysis Pro. It gives me the ability to upload huge datasets and ask questions about that data to which it can respond with text and even charts. Here's an example of what that looks like for a huge export of medical SIC codes and which ones have the highest concentration of single-location employee counts. It's crazy how good it is. What's even cooler is it can integrate standard ChatGPT abilities to pull in additional data that's not represented in your dataset.

I show you this not because I expect everyone to be spending hours a day playing with this stuff, but simply to inform you all that this exists and is incredibly powerful. Check it out and let me know your favorite applications!
