How I Use AI to Supercharge My Content Creation

How I Use AI to Supercharge My Content Creation

Happy October ?? ?? ?friend!

?

As I write this, I'm getting ready to head off to Vail this coming weekend. My partner's youngest has a soccer tournament and so we'll be there for the weekend. I'm hoping for a little last bit of the leaves changing color to stare at while I watch 11 year olds play soccer.

?

It will be a welcome break and digital detox to be away from my laptop and taking in the beauty that is Mother Nature. Say a prayer for me the weather stays as predicted - warm during the days and sunny, up into the 70's!

?

The picture below is from last year's tournament. Don't think the colors will be quite as bold. Either way I'll be happy to escape the city and get out into the mountains.?

The more I work and the more successful my Influencer Talent Management Agency become, the more crucial it is to get offline to recharge my batteries.?

My best, most creative ideas come to me when I'm not overwhelmed, in the shower, randomly on a walk or in a conversation with someone.?

?

Crack open my brain or my iPhone notes app and there is no shortage of ideas. In fact, I struggle with getting all my amazing ideas from brain or paper, out in the world. ?

?

This year I've been leaning into AI and it's been incredibly helpful in turning my steady stream of ideas into content.

?

As someone who juggles influencer talent management, Influencer Talent Agency consulting, content creation, and Influencer Talent Manager coaching, using AI allows me to work more efficiently and creatively without feeling overwhelmed by the sheer volume of ideas in my head.

?

Understanding that capturing my ideas when they land in my brain doesn't mean I have to flush the whole idea out right away is super helpful. Yes when the time comes for me to sit and take that idea from paper to the online space, that's where I get stuck!?

?

AI plays a vital role is helping me beat writer’s block. I often say that I've got the whole article or post, minus the opening line or two. That's exactly where I get stuck, on what to write to kick things off, to open the article, to begin the IG caption or LinkedIn post.?

?

I've got the ideas but not often the catchy hook.

?

I know I'm not alone in this. We’ve all been there—staring at a blank screen, unsure of how to start. Whenever this happens and I feel stuck, I input a few key ideas into AI to generate a starting point or outline.?

?

What works best for me is something like “I want to write an article about XYZ subject. Here's my idea of what to cover, here are my takeaways from the post and the value that I want to offer. What would be a catchy opening sentence or paragraph?”?

?

From there, I can build on the structure it gives me, transforming an overwhelming task into something manageable. This works for longer pieces like newsletters and articles as well as shorter-form content like social posts.

?

Truly once I type that into AI and it spits back whatever, it's already unlocked my writer's block. 8/10 just seeing what AI had to say gave me the exact idea of what to write.?

?

Lastly, I find AI incredibly useful when I need to edit and fine-tune my writing. Sometimes I’ll have all my ideas drafted on paper, but the flow or tone needs adjusting.?

?

I'm a wordy gal and there are definitely times I've read my content and gotten confused. ?Like, what on earth am I trying to say Johanna?! Or I know it's too much but I can't figure out how to condense without losing the point.?

?

Again, I'll feed my own words into AI and prompt it to clean it up or make it catchier or less boring. Just the act of doing that, often times unlocks the right phrasing for me.?

?

I know me earlier this year, before even thinking of opening up an AI platform to try it out was kinda terrified. From all that I had read about AI taking over, I thought for sure it would somehow be like unleashing robots….somehow, although I'm not really sure how that would happen. Don't ask!

?

Now I can say that integrating AI into my workflow has been transformative for keeping up with content creation and actually producing even better quality content. ?My ideas are no longer just sitting on an Iphone notes app - they're out there in the world.?

?

If you’re managing a lot of moving parts like I am, AI can be a valuable tool to help streamline your process, organize your thoughts, and keep you productive.?

?

Tell me, do you use AI in your daily work in Influencer Marketing? How? I'd love to know which platform you use. ?Hit reply and let's chat about it.

Until next time. Thanks for being here.?
