The Challenge: Comparing 36 Tools Efficiently:

Comparing and choosing the best hiring tools can be overwhelming, especially when you have 36 options to consider. It's time-consuming to manually create and manage all those web pages. That's why I wanted to find a way to make it easier and faster, so you can make informed decisions without the hassle.

Tools Used: Webflow, Whalesync, and Airtable:

To simplify the process, I used three tools: Webflow, Whalesync, and Airtable. Webflow is a user-friendly platform that helped me build and manage web pages easily. Whalesync acted as the bridge between Airtable and Webflow, connecting the data between them. And Airtable served as the central place to organize and manage all the information about the hiring tools.


Step-by-Step Guide to Automating the Process:

Step 1. Creating Content in Simple HTML:

I started by creating the web pages in plain HTML. This allowed me to design them exactly how I wanted, making sure they are user-friendly and easy to navigate. The goal was to provide you, as a hiring manager, with all the necessary information to make the right decisions.

Step 2. Managing Data with Airtable:

To keep everything organized, I used Airtable as a simple database. I stored important details about each hiring tool, such as its features, social media, review, traffic stats, and benefits.

I also added metadata through ChatGPT and all relevant schemas. Additionally, I looked at the brand name search volume to see which tools were popular and relevant in the industry. This helped me narrow down the options.

3. Building a User-Friendly CMS with Webflow:

Webflow made it easy for me to create a content management system (CMS) that you can easily navigate. I made sure the layout was consistent across all the comparison pages, so you can quickly find the information you need. It's important to have a user-friendly interface, especially when comparing multiple tools.

4. Integrating Airtable and Webflow with Whalesync:

Whalesync played a crucial role in connecting Airtable and Webflow. It made sure that any updates or changes I made in Airtable were automatically reflected on the web pages. This saved me from manually inputting the information again and again, making the process more efficient.

5. Creating Eye-Catching Images with Canva:

To make the comparison pages visually appealing, I used Canva. It's a simple graphic design tool where I uploaded logos of the 36 hiring tools. Canva automatically generated attractive images for each page, saving me time and effort in creating them manually.

By following these steps and using Webflow, Whalesync, and Airtable, I successfully automated the process of comparing 36 hiring tools. This means you can easily access and evaluate different options without spending hours researching and creating web pages.
