[How I Plan To Fast For 5 Days And Train Like Mad]
My idea of fasting means abstaining from breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I am still allowed to drink drinks like coffee, milk etc or what ever I like.
I am still allowed to eat mints or plums of the sorts.
Just no food so to speak.
Training wise would consist of at least an hour of Muay Thai, or if my body permits, 2 hours of training which also consist of body weight training.
So far, I am at my 24 hour mark since I started abstaining from food yesterday since 1pm.
So how it looks like thus far is basically like this:
Day 1:
Lunch: Eaten porridge & some other ingredients + coconut drink
Dinner: Latte + ice long black
Training at night: 1 hour of Muay Thai + 1 hour of warrior fit
Day 2:
No food at all.
Training: 2 hours of Muay Thai
Day 3 to 5 would be weekends till Monday.
I would officially stop on Tuesday dinner.
Every day would be no food + intense training.
The benefits of fasting is powerful.
It allows your body to regenerate cells, and it provides cleansing and overall clearing of your systems to remove toxins.
More so, it allows you to be more grateful and appreciate food even more because not everybody is fortunate enough to even have sufficient food on the table in the first place.
Lastly, it allows me to push my body to the limits and see how much I am able to step out of my comfort zone and really push myself to train hard even without any food intake.
Of course, this type of intense behavior is not recommended for everyone.
For me, I practiced intermittent fasting before. Likewise, I am used to intense training because at my peak, I trained for 4 to 6 hours a day, so my body is pretty much use to the training already.
So far, I do feel hungry. But do I feel lethargic or tired? Not really.
One best tip I have for you is:
Sleep more. If you are able to afford 8 to 10 hours of sleep, it would be ideal.
As I am writing this, my body is aching because I have another concurrent goal which is to train non stop for 30 days in the month of November.
So far I trained 12 days consecutively with no rest in between aka no rest day.
But I am still very very very fine.
Ultimately, your mind is stronger than your body.
Limit is meant to be push.
Never think that you cant go beyond certain limit.
Be limit-less.
