How I manifested a ticket to Tay Tay

February was absolutely choker block full of amazingness. But also, as you will know if you follow me on socials, a lot!! So I’m pretty tired to be honest and it’s making me look at the coming months and slow it right down.

?

One of the highlights this month was getting to attend the much anticipated and sought after Eras Tour by the one and only Taylor Swift. (If you’re a Swiftie and didn’t go, please don’t leave!) (If you’re sick of hearing about this cos you’re not a Swiftie, please also stay with me!)

?

It’s been all up in our grill since she launched the tour and it reached fever pitch this month when the shows actually happened. Now I’m not a Swiftie per se, but I enjoy her music, admire her work ethic and simply cannot miss out on such a phenomenon. I knew it was a show that would be a game changer and I wanted to be one of the ones who saw it!

But, I am not sitting on a computer for hours to get tickets. I just don’t want to that badly. So I declared that if someone was to be selling a ticket or offer me one, I would jump at it and say YES!

?

Now how did this pan out?

?

My gorgeous friend, client and colleague - who you will have seen lots of lately, Christine Kankkunen (no we are not joined at the hip but we do a lot together), reached out on a text message and said “hey. My sister’s friend dropped out, would you like a ticket?”

?

That’s amazing right?? It happened about a month ago.?

?

It happened just as I wanted it to!

?

But you know truly why this happened? Because when Christine told me she had tickets I said to her “congrats and if any of your group can’t go, just give me shout and I am in there!”

?

What is manifesting??

It’s making things real.

?

I didn’t just sit here wishing for a ticket. I said out loud what I wanted. I specifically told someone who could make it happen, what I wanted, and when the time came - she knew exactly who to go to with that offer. And then, I said YES!

?

Funnily enough, I also got offered a ticket just 2 days before the concert from another client and in a box seat!!! But I didn’t abandon Christine ;).

?

So, the moral is - what do you want that you’re not currently asking for?

?

What are you not saying out loud?

?

What are you holding back on?

?

Ok, so what happened in February? It was a biggy!!

?

The February highlights:

• She Freights Retreat India - Christine Kannkunen, Founder of Pivot Freight Solutions and She Freights, led her first ever retreat! I was her coach and co-host and we took another gorgeous woman over to India. We attended the IHGF Delhi Fair, and also visited stunning Jaipur and Agra. We also got to attend the Air Cargo India conference which I was the MC for 12 years ago!
• Great news - it was such a success that we are doing it all again later this year. So if you missed out, make sure to register your interest here for next time.?
• Arrived back from India and flew straight to Sydney to watch Blink 182 live in concert, yep Feb was a concert month. One of my fave bands from my teens, I’ve waited 20 years to see them and it did not disappoint. Such a cup filling moment.
• Hosted the Change-Up Season of Change Gala on the Gold Coast. I was even dressed by incredible local store, Dressed by Jaz, and got my make up done by Natalia Artistry. It was a full glam event and for an amazing cause, giving make overs to people who have experience homelessness and challenging circumstances. I’ll definitely be sharing more about this event and the work of this org.
• Flew to Sydney for Taylor Swift! Epic, Mind Blowing and joy. I was in sparkle heaven. I’m still planning to do a summary reel but haven’t quite processed it all and want to relive the joy when making it - so stay tuned for that fun!
• I hosted the Business Chicks member meetup again. I love getting to host these sessions on behalf of Business Chicks so if you are a member make sure to join us for future ones see all events.
• Celebrated my 1st anniversary with my husband and made a very personal reel to celebrate. So if you do know me, you will know I’ve actually been married a while … 4 years even. But because it was a leap year, the day we got married only comes around every? 4 years. So happy anniversary to us!!
