How I Made $327,725 On This Pre Construction Condo

I just sold one of my condos in Toronto.

I had owned the condo for 11 years.

I bought it pre construction directly from the Builder.

It was a great investment.

I ended up making $327,775 on the condo.

I purchased it in 2009 for $222,245 and sold it for $550,000 during COVID.

$550,000 - $222,245 = $327,755

If you divide the equity gain ($327,755) by the number of years I owned the condo (11 years), you get...

$327,755 / 11 = $29,795.

That is an equity gain of $29,795 per year for the past 11 years. (If we average it out).
