Place Indoor Plants at Home: Best Ideas that I Found

Now, you might have decided which indoor plants should be there inside your home. However, as we discussed, only choosing the right plants is not enough. You also need to know how to place them at home.?

So, here are some of the best ideas to add indoor plants to your home interior.?

Plants on the Staircase:?

Whether it is the stairs to go to the rooftop or any decorative staircases, you can place beautiful indoor plants there. ZZ plants, snake plants and plants with little blooming flowers are ideal to add a unique look to your random stairs. Also, you can use succulents there if the staircases get enough sunlight in the daytime.?

Hang Your Plants on the Balcony:

Balcony is one of the best places for your indoor plants. If your balcony gets optimum sunlight, you’re all set to go for a small floral garden. Hang diverse flower plants and make sure to water them at a regular interval. You can also place decorative ferns and orchids using the balcony railings. To make the ambiance a little more aesthetic, include some variants of cactus plants.

Bookcase with Plants:

Let a strand of pothos, hoya or rhipsalis trail across the bookcase and enjoy an aesthetic enigma there! Whether it is a new or existing bookshelf, decorating it with a gentle mix of diverse indoor plants is an amazing idea. However, arrange the plants thoughtfully so that the size of the leaves or the pot designs do not create any obstacle, and you can take any book whenever needed easily.?

Plants on the Entrance:

Who does not like to be welcomed with a green, natural vibe? Your guests like it too. So, placing plants at the entrance of your home adds an extra layer of serenity to your home’s environment.?

Indoor Plants Room Divider:

Looking for some serene privacy in an open hall in your home? Try a green room divider with plants. For this purpose, you can use pothos, ivy plants, and different variants of ferns. Whatever plant you use must grow as a bush and cover the divider properly.?

Open Shelf Plants:

Shelves are not to keep books and accessories always! Open shelf structures are good for flaunting your indoor plant collections. You can place some floral plants or some plants with decorative leaves. My mother has placed some of them in an open shelf structure at my home.?

Mini Kitchen Garden:

Whether you have a small or large space for your kitchen, you can always plan a garden there. A mix of vegetables, greens and herbs can grow in kitchen gardens. Depending on your daily requirements, you can plant basil, tomatoes, lemon, rosemary, mint, beans, peppers, parsley, lemongrass, coriander leaves, etc. However, these plants may have different requirements for soil, water and sunlight. So, keep them in mind while planning to grow them.?

Centerpiece with Ferns:

A dining table or a coffee table often looks incomplete without a centerpiece. So, what if we decorate the centerpiece with natural ferns? It is indeed a unique idea to enjoy quality time at home while staying connected to nature. A dinner party, small get-togethers or regular family time- the ferns will add a gentle and refreshing vibe to every occasion.?

Plants in beautiful containers:

Small decorative containers filled with small leaves or blooming flowers at home are addictive! The String of Pearls with its small, rounded and plump leaves, Anthurium with its heart-shaped waxy flowers, African Violets, etc. are the best choice for it. You can creatively place them in containers and showcase them at different corners inside your home.?

So, that’s how I love to see indoor plants in my home! What are your thoughts on this? Share pictures of indoor plants in your home in the comments below!?
