How I Helped my Client Generate Leads Within Three Weeks

How I Helped my Client Generate Leads Within Three Weeks

If you're reading this you're probably thinking, Ryan...what is the magic sauce?

It's right under your nose and most of the time, completely free.

So as to keep my client's name private, we will just all them "client."

Client was starting a new business which actually involved selling other businesses. So, his demographic was B2B.

Lead generation encompasses several elements to consider. Many business owners who are wondering why they're not getting leads, may want to think about the following.

  • Who is my core (ideal) lead or prospect? You'd be amazed to discover that many business owners really don't know who their ideal lead is. What is their profile? What or who do they care about? Why do they need you? What do they value and how can you tap into that need or desire? Where are they from? What about their income level? What about their culture and how does it relate to you?

Spend a little time getting to know your customers (use a CRM or other system to track their data). You'll be amazing at what you learn and how this can redefine your marketing efforts. My clients use soffront.com for email marketing. My custom development company is ewebjelly.com.

  • Timing - Client was in an amazing time. COVID-19 hit the World, and the National Economy took a punch to the gut and had the wind knocked out of it. I told my client that now is a great time to help people who may be experiencing economic hardship and need to sell a business. BOOM. BINGO. The timing is key. So, we sent out an email campaign, and sure enough....some interested leads came in. Timing can be everything. Think about your timing with your marketing, what is going on now? What do people need right now? Yes, we generated leads that quickly, in less than a month. We did this by thinking, planning, and delivering the right message.
  • Consistency - Most people are not consistent. If your lead generation is passive, you won't get anywhere or anything. If you making excuses as to why you can't be consistent with your sales and marketing efforts, then figure out why. Time block your day to make phone calls, send email campaigns, message people on Linkedin, and be consistent with it. MAKE THE TIME SO YOU WILL MAKE THE MONEY. Don't make excuses, if you can spend an hour watching Netflix...you can sure cut out an hour to market your business.
  • Tools - Make your marketing easy, by using the proper tools. Look into an all-in-one solution like what Soffront.com has. Or, pick out what you think you need the most. At the core, all businesses need:

1. A CRM to track and manage leads, prospects, and customers.

2. An email marketing tool to send out campaigns and share the value you bring.

3. SMS Text to promote yourself through text too, all are available at soffront.com

4. YouTube Channel, it's free and a great way to promote and market your products or services.

Last but not least, don't SELL....instead....create VALUE.

As yourself, what value do I bring?
