Without breaking the bank and NO strategy

I saw an email from VidIQ saying I had hit a new achievement?—?7,500 views!

That doesn’t sound like a lot.

And it isn’t, considering many YouTubers get that within the first hour after posting.

But that was exciting for me.

Here’s why…

I started my channel probably about five years ago, it might have been sometime in 2019 when I first started dabbling in affiliate marketing and building websites.

I was never consistent.

I made a video here or there and they were lame.

I was stiff as hell.

I looked pissed.

And I sounded like Ben Stein only I wasn’t nearly half as cool as him.

I deleted those videos.

Over the years I tried exploring what I wanted to do.

I dabbled in other forms of affiliate marketing, fishing, DIY tips, restaurant marketing, and even started recording food content.

But my problem was I was never consistent.

Nor could I pick something and stick to it.

I’m a textbook example of what some call “a shiny object chaser.”

A course creator's dream if you will.

It wasn’t until I pulled my out of my ?? and got serious about what I wanted to do.

I started an AI and automation agency for small businesses.

But I didn’t want my channel to consist of only AI related videos.

I wanted more personality and entertainment.

If you’re familiar with my background you know I’m an Air Force veteran and love the military culture.

So I decided to make 80% of my content military related and 20% tips and business related resources using AI.

Both my podcast and newsletter, Beyond the Uniforms, including my social media platforms, are the main distribution channels for reaching out and connecting with military members and veterans.

When I cracked down on creating more videos I decided it was time to compete on a whole new level.

I wanted an edge and needed to know how to not only get more views on my videos but also make them stand out, including being found in YouTube’s SEO rankings.

After some digging around for the best resources the decision was clear: VidIQ.

Here’s why…

For starters, the price is extremely low for what you get and you can even start for free.

You get monthly credits on title suggestions but you also get tag suggestions with a related score.

Meaning if you find titles that are SEO optimized and popular you can see that title's score.

The higher the number the better chances you’ll have to rank higher for that search term.

It will even suggest related keywords and trending keywords.

Same goes with the video tags.

It can also write the description for you using AI but keep in mind you’re limited to a certain number of times based on your plan.

It might be easier to write it yourself or use ChatGPT to help you for free.

Another thing I like about VidIQ is it will show you how to optimize your video for better results. For example check out the image below and see the recommendations to improve the score:

This tells you how optimized your video is in relation to other videos that are similar to yours in the search engine.

And if you’re ever stuck VidIQ offers personalized daily ideas for you to create your next video.

And if those features weren’t great enough they also offer a free course on how to grow your channel quickly, including YouTube videos.

I connected VidIQ to my channel about three months ago but only got serious about producing more videos in the last six weeks.

If you’re serious about growing your YouTube channel then VidIQ is a no brainer.

It’s what helped me go from all over the place and being inconsistent to gaining thousands of views within a few weeks.

It’s the most popular and most advanced system out there to help you get some serious traction with your videos.

It even keeps track of your video views and alerts you on achievements to help you stay motivated and consistent.

There’s a lot more that goes into ranking your YouTube videos, but that’s beyond the scope of this article.

Things like SEO optimized descriptions, text in thumbnails, and much more.

Keep in mind that since Google owns YouTube, YouTube is treated much the same in that it is a search engine specifically for videos utilizing SEO factors.

But I’ll leave that to the SEO gurus.

I just wanted to show you a cost effective tool to help you grow your YouTube channel without breaking the bank on an SEO agency.
