How I Got 2.1M+ LinkedIn Impressions in 7 months

After 7 months on LinkedIn I reached 2.1M+ Impressions.

While impressions don’t tell the whole story, they are needed to reach the right people.

These numbers are the driving force behind my diverse income streams in consulting, products, and subscriptions. It's also what landed me the top spot as the #1 Rising Global LinkedIn Creator according to Favikon.

Many people reach out to me for advice on how to make an impact, build their following, or craft must-read content.

I've developed over 5 unique processes for daily content creation.

Today, I'll let you in one on those - a particularly effective method that simplifies content creation.

It’s called…

The Waterfall

Step 1) The Breakpoint

The Breakpoint is designed to break the reader’s scroll and entice them to click “...see more”.

It starts with a powerful first line that uses a striking stat or opinion to draw attention, followed by lines that add context or invite curiosity.

Some examples include:

“How to become a professional copywriter in less than 10 days...even if you suck”
“5 quick & easy ways to gain 1000 followers & avoid shadowbans... even if you have no content”
“Here’s my PROVEN Personal Branding solution To attract REAL followers”

Because if you can’t get the reader to stop?

Then they can’t get to…

Step 2) The Body of Water

This is the foundation, where valuable lessons are shared.

For example, when sharing how I developed my Solopreneur business, I might highlight 10 benefits and 1 crucial piece of advice.

The words should fall quickly like a waterfall.

Remember, it's crucial that your core content keeps their attention by giving value that's either:

1) Emotional

2) Educational

3) Entertaining

Without this, your deeper value risks getting glossed over.

If that happens, they don’t get the chance to see you as an authority and they never get to…

Step 3) The Final Pool

Finally, I typically conclude with a question and a call to action.

This is to keep the reader “swimming in the pool” so to speak.

One way is to get them to stay, read the comments, and leave one of their own.

This fosters a sense of community and connectedness to the content.

I usually do a…

“P.S. Do you agree? Let me know what you think!”

This can be seen as a CTA on its own but I like to take it a step further and let the reader know what I offer so I add in a

“Go to my profile to get your first 5k followers ??”

This typically generates me 10-12 leads per day who sign up for my lead magnet.

A Summary

By following these steps, my posts routinely achieve high engagement ranging between 10–80K impressions and 200-600 likes.
