How I Boosted My Productivity with AI: Tips and Tricks From My Personal Experience

More and more entrepreneurs, retailers, and marketing directors of big brands are reaching out to me to discuss the impact of generative AI on their business, team, profession, and customer behavior. This fascinating topic is on everyone's lips, just as web3 was over a year ago.

Everyone wants to know how to profit from it. For less than 100€ per year, you can use ChatGPT, Discord, and a Midjourney account to boost:

1- SEO

Those who have launched a B2C startup know that the key is organic search engine optimization. I remember launching a company with my friend Thomas, where we wrote blog articles at a frenzied pace. With ChatGPT, all you have to do is enter a few keywords and a theme, and press enter. After proofreading and a few minor modifications, you're done. In our day, we forced ourselves to write two articles each per week. With these tools, we could now easily do two per day, without overexerting ourselves. Post them on LinkedIn, newsletters, Twitter, Facebook. Go for it; it will rock.

2 – CREATION OF VISUALS AND BANNERS

From my earliest professional experiences, I developed solid Photoshop skills. I take this opportunity to remember all the photomontages of my colleagues in consulting firms. They know who they are. Today, I am wondering, what's the point? Open Discord, launch Midjourney 5 or a free competitor version. After a few tries, you can easily generate visuals on the fly. All you need is a little practice, a few tips, and you can quickly say goodbye to long shootings, too expensive creations, or images you don't have the rights to. A small piece of advice: use a plugin or even ChatGPT to help you write your prompts. Specify the format, style, objective, technical characteristics, and voila. Images for your website, presentations, banner creation for social media, slogan or catchphrase ideas. Everything is at your fingertips in record time. For impressive colleagues' photomontages to disturb the open space : use the /Blend function.

3 - CODE:

If you don't code, but you understand the logic and mechanisms when you read a Smart Contract, for example, generative AI can help you structure a framework that you can easily customize. A little bit of Remix and you're done. Don't hesitate to use it to correct code; it will spot errors for you. I haven’t had the opportunity to use GPT-4 yet, but it seems it can code from visuals. Imagine the impact on front-office jobs: a website mockup, a stroke of GPT-4, and your site is coded. What about the back-office? No one can predict it yet.

However, if you use Midjourney and ChatGPT daily, you know as well as I do that ChatGPT can go far. Very far. It's said to hallucinate, and the word is weak. Read its productions carefully, challenge, and verify the numbers. A ChatGPT article can save you time creating a lot of content with the right keywords, but at this point, your article will be passable at best.

Midjourney can break your computer... at least you'll be the one throwing it. It does what it wants, represents people's teeth or fingers in a very bizarre way. Yesterday, the team showed me a great seafood and fish platter with... a two-headed salmon. Who knows why. You can be an expert in writing a prompt, but those who use it know that after two or three modifications, it will start doing whatever it wants. You have to stop quickly. The key to use Midjourney is a good prompt. A selection. One or two modifications maximum.

Goldman Sachs just dropped a bombshell prediction: AI is going to wipe out at least 300 million jobs. But the truth is, I don't really know.

Sure, without humans, AI is nothing. But the real question is, for how long?

?

This post is my own personal opinion and doesn't necessarily reflect the views of my employer.

Oh, and just to clarify, ChatGPT didn't write this article.

It may have been to check spelling and improve phrasing though, just so you know.

Julien Garcia, would you be so kind and show the world your two-headed salmon generated on Midjourney ?
