How highly successful people think differently

We had all seen recent election in the biggest   state UP , 5th largest in world ,where one party wins 2/3 majority  against intellectual,  well educated in best of school , not knowing pulse of people and they have same old thinking which often repeated without understanding changing aspiration of new India .after 3 three decade of lull /void of  any party winning massive majority party  , once they got majority and  time came to choose a leader to lead , they appointed  some one whom even bjp own supporter on social media were apprehensive initially , as party chance of   coming to power next time in  2019  election was based on outcome of delivery of  promise, which should be  met in 2 years but  people should experience and people should be o seen /felt by changing happening on ground  . Taking  courageous /risky decision based  on  visionary  thinking  of Modi and Shah shows how unconventionally they think then delhi Media/rest of country . They chose to appoint some one whom no one thought would be right to lead biggest state in india  and deliver output against big tgt in shortest possible time. Time will only tell - whether not so well articulate /not so educated in terms of delhi media can make difference in life of people of my state where governance  is   yet to take off, how ever initial reports suggest  , same set of police officer delivering result much better  way under different leader.

When we were born on this planet – we were full of joy, never got tired , we were full of energy and always in ecstatic mood . Our mind was pure and some one has to make  effort to make us unhappy. Our generation have much more comfort then our  parents still we feel not so happy and content with life. It is not content of life but context of life which will make difference in our well being . By the  time we grow up, we listen to our  parent and spent time in society/tech/mobile  . Our perception is heap of impression we gather while growing up  with people  . we start looking the world/people the way we have been brought by our parents,   unless we get hooks in our adulthood with right  tool and perspective – we will never be happy internally neither we will make happy other .

We  were seeker nation over 1000 years , hence a lot of time was devoted for inner engineering in the past . we always loved our parents as they were leader/inspiration  for us. We did not believe what they were saying but we trusted what they were doing . if father was respecting mother /junior n lower income group, we  did  same when we grow up  as adult .


Leadership   is  scare commodity in the  world . It is very difficult  to find people whose   sole dedication is well being of other by being happy and inspiring to lead rest to make difference .all innovation were  started by one guys n rest have joined  in in past . Be it Gandhi ji for uniting country or In politics Our PM Talking Development as new  mantra to unite india rather getting votes through caste/religion based  sentiment . Modi  is setting new narrative and rest of parties   are just reacting to it. He is one guy who understood strength  of India and same set of people ,same babu under modified  environment have changed their work culture where efficiency and output is getting measured  . He did not sack  many babu and govt people but delivery now  is different then past .

I was fascinated to study these kind of people, who can make difference in sales . One day I spotted a guy who was working in remote district head  qtr  and he was full of ambition ,determined to make difference in the field . Over 2 Year – I gave two different assignment  and he ensured number one position within 6 month. We were looking for leader for one of toughest district , where we were losing share . we had to remove two manager  earlier and each one was blaming environment  for their failure. we gave this gentleman leadership position and within 3 month he turnaround district and his ranking was moved   63 to 22 . I visited and spent two days to understand,  how he made changes with same people and same place..

Few quality of successful people like him which are common across

They are confident

While talking to him , I was  feeling  energetic . if only we knew of all that great idea which never came to fruition because of confident, I was right . our internal victory over our mind  is more critical. We are biggest enemy of our progress. All ideas first get created in our mind before they get executed . Successful people win first their mind before winning other . They do not  have any doubt on victory and picture is clear in their mind ,hence they transfer energy to other .

Highly energetic

Successful leader have huge energy and they are happiest people. They are internally happy and transfer his energy to his team. most of them are fit- they either do yoga/running or play sport. They connect fast with people .

Few thought and clear vision in moment

They have few thought in mind  . most people who fail do chase many KPI but these kind of people chase few KPI and they follow up like Mad. They always  chase and sleep with few important KPI.

They  spent massive time on people development

They always lead from front. They are first to reach to channel and always build relation . they believe in doing rather saying . this impact his team who does similar job to his junior . These people never blame failure to his people . His people earns maximum incentive and he also always earns maximum incentive . They do not  lose any incentive given by company.They will ensure maximum %  incentive to team .

They chase number and have clear cut vision /where to reach

When  you talk to them, they have all data point  ready with them and knows what are issues and what is solution and what is timeline  to reach. They  knows their number on their lip. Our brain is influenced  by number  and brain always  needs clarity of thought .

They are great listener and relationship builder

With in  two month , he knew channel and retailer by name . these  guys are great relationship builder  n they are able to connect well and able to push their agenda

Tough task master

They do not compromise daily tgt and ensure people moved in mkt as he   moved along with them. They always lead  from front .

They are honest

Honesty is their strength on which they build their relationship. Honesty in dealing with  people and boss/channel.


They  seek out small small victory and celebrate

Every day they celebrate success. They reward team behavior  daily . They keep team positive most of time they do not wait to appreciate by  month end . every day they appreciate and give dopamine to his team.

They are always learning

They keep on asking question from best people to learn new method of reaching goal.


They are fearless

When I was giving toughest district . he took it immediately. He had big accident but very soon he was on field with his team

They turn complex job into game

While chasing big number , he make into game where team can play and win. While  winning the cms , he focused on frontline incentive to get his team alignment .
