Do you hate it when we get another bout of load shedding, especially in winter?
As we head up to another winter, one has to wonder how many power outages we will be experiencing. According to an article in May this year in the Times Live by Penwell Dlamini Joburg had 170 000 power outages in the 2017/2018 financial year.
This startling fact was revealed by Mayor Herman Mashaba in his second state of the city address. The article went on further, to state than more than 27% of bulk transformers now operate beyond their lifespan, some being as old as 91 years.
While I can’t do anything about the reported electrical infrastructure backlog of R 17 billion, I can help my family by installing a few of our batter operated lights, so that in winter when we get back from school and work, we can easily switch on the lights, giving my children a sense of security and control.
I hang these useful promotional LED bulb-shaped light with pull on/off power switch to hang at the front door, in the bathroom and in the children’s room.
They are battery operated and come with three batteries. At only R 63.70 per unit (excl branding) they are very cost effective.
They make a very practical gift that in our current environment will be a welcome gift for everyone.
Some of our clients have given them out to their staff and some have purchased them for Mandela Day.
So the question is: Do you want to give a gift that is relevant and add value to your client’s life?
Then the Pull Light is the gift for you.
