How a Heavy Thumb is Distorting My Online Image

This is only a simple cautionary note to those of you who, like me, have somewhat large, indelicate hands. I often use the Linkedin app on my "smart" phone, scrolling through the latest postings and articles of interest. I like to see what is current within my professional arena, and I often learn from my peers through their postings and comments.
What I have recently come to discover, however, is that while I am scrolling through a somewhat random array of articles, postings and comments, my thumb is not only advancing the display, but also striking the nearest "Like" icon on the screen! Only by visiting my profile in the online version of Linkedin did I discover that I had "Liked" all sorts of postings that I do not, in fact, like at all. As far as I know, there is no way to "unlike" what I have "liked," so my public presentation of my interests, approvals, endorsements and preferences is forever distorted by my rather clumsy touchscreen skills.
So to anyone within my network who hopes to understand me on the basis of my Linkedin "Likes," I urge you to throttle back your judgment. And for anyone with big thumbs, I encourage you to approach the smartphone app of Linkedin with caution.
Thank god I don't have a Facebook account.
