How Healthy Are You?

Are you taking one or more OTC and/or Prescription drugs regularly? By definition, if you are taking OTC and/or Prescription drugs to function, you aren't healthy. The majority of people have been indoctrinated and conditioned to believe taking pharmaceutical drugs is simply a fact of life on this planet. Yet, that isn't 100% true. A survey reveals 55% of Americans regularly take a prescription drug—and they're taking more than ever. Those who use a prescription drug take four, on average, and many also take over-the-counter drugs. ~Consumer Reports

Research the negative side effects of all OTC and Prescription drugs you are taking. Never mind if you have taken them for years without a problem. Your body chemistry is altered by toxic OTC and Prescription drugs. When your chemistry is altered to the degree that your endocrine system can no longer compensate for the toxins you ingest, the OTC and Prescription drugs will cause organ malfunctions. Your symptoms are merely a message that you need to stop ‘poisoning’ your body.

In addition to taking toxic drugs, the majority of Americans eat genetically modified food a.k.a GMO. Twenty-six countries had total or partial bans on GMOs, “including Switzerland, Australia, Austria, China, India, France, Germany, Hungary, Luxembourg, Greece, Bulgaria, Poland, Italy, Mexico and Russia,” and that “significant restrictions on GMOs exist in about sixty other countries.” In 2015, the anti-GMO group Sustainable Pulse reported that 38 countries ban the cultivation of GMO crops. The group’s list includes Algeria and Madagascar in Africa; Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Bhutan, and Saudi Arabia in Asia; Belize, Peru, Ecuador, and Venezuela in South and Central America; and 28 countries in Europe.

Food allergies/sensitivities and food-related illnesses are more prevalent in the U.S.

How many of these food items are you eating on a daily basis—10%, 20%, 50%, 100% ?

All food items listed above are grown Organic. By definition, Organic food isn’t GMO.

Also, pesticides, herbicides are used on all food crops except Organic.

PAY ATTENTION: The International Journal of Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine, the Institute for Responsible Technology revealed that nearly every person in their study that switched to a non-GMO diet, or simply reduced the amount of GMO foods they ate, saw an improvement in their health.

The Institute for Responsible Technology studied more than 3,250 people and saw improvements in 28 health conditions. An overwhelming majority of people reported that their conditions were significantly improved, nearly gone or completely recovered.

People experiencing digestive problems reported the most improvements. 85.2% of people with digestive problems reported seeing some sort of improvement after making dietary changes that reduced or eliminated GMOs from their diet.

First and Foremost, I chose not to eat GMO food. I read the Ingredients of all manufactured food items to make sure none of the GMO items listed is in the ingredients. READ ingredients carefully, including, Additional ingredients.

FYI - Costco offers the most organic food items than any other grocer. NO, I do not get a fee for mentioning Costco.

According to CDC data, incidences of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Crohn’s, and ulcerative colitis all rose in parallel with the percentage of GMO corn acreage planted in the U.S. since 1979 and the amount of GBH sprayed on GMO corn and soy acreage.

The majority of people still allow themselves to be duped by the food industry.

The food industry is leading 96% of people like sheep into eating processed, fake, chemical-filled food. Their slick ads are duping people to believe their “fortified”, “sugar-free”, “enriched”, “lean”, “diet” food is healthy, without any consequences. Food manufacturers don't want you to pay attention to what you are really eating and how it can affect your health. It’s simple and EASY. The key is eating real, unprocessed food:

Eat lots of fruits and vegetables (organic whenever possible), beans, legumes, organic meats and dairy, wild sustainable fish, and healthy fats like avocados, coconut oil, olive oil, nuts, and seeds. Avoid processed food with long ingredient lists or ingredients that you don’t recognize. Avoid artificial or natural flavors, refined sugar, artificial sweeteners, partially hydrogenated oils, SOY, and GMOs. Read every ingredient list on all processed food.

But, how daunting will it be when you have a diagnosis of diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, cancer, fatty liver, IBD, IBS, leaky gut, fibromyalgia, or Cholesterol off-the-chart. You know your favorite processed food, once you learn which ones have bad ingredients, then you know not to buy it or you can find another manufacturer that has taken out the bad ingredients and replaced it with healthy ingredients. If you discover new processed food, it will take 45 seconds or less to see if it contains bad ingredients. Bingo!! More often than not you can check ingredients on the Internet.

Last, but not least WATER could be the culprit for poor health. Drink only distilled or filtered water. The water in your area could be contaminated with Herbicides, Pesticides or other mineral contaminates. The most common drinking water contaminants are microorganisms, nitrate, and *arsenic. Water quality monitoring has improved over the past five years. Bacteria, viruses, and protozoa (such as Giardia lamblia and Cryptosporidium) are drinking water contaminants that can rapidly cause widespread and serious illnesses. Also, Chlorine in the water is toxic.

You can buy a water filter and make your own filtered water to avoid the expense of buying filtered water and filling the environment with plastic. Avoid using reverse osmosis, it uses 3 gallons of water to create 1 gallon of filtered water.

The data out there that isn't controlled by big pharma, agra, or healthcare/gov shows a clear link between the food we eat and chronic disease such as diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. There is not and never will be a cure for these life style diseases that doesn't involve diet in some way. As the old saying reminds, It isn't out there.
