How to have one's cake and eat it too when it comes to Intune Migration
As many of you will no doubt be aware, back in 2021 Microsoft entered into a new Pan-Governmental MOU known as the Digital Transformation Arrangement 2021 (DTA21) with regards to E3 licensing for the whole of UK Public Sector, Microsoft themselves posted the news here?UK government signs new three-year Memorandum of Understanding with Microsoft
‘So?’ I hear many people say to themselves. It’s perfectly likely that the reader of this already knows all about it and is already taking advantage of the offer. However, since joining Nine23 I have encountered several Local Authorities, Councils, even Central Government Departments where the invitation to migrate off of whatever MDM/EMM you currently have over to Intune has not been taken up, and for many people I’ve spoken to, this has come down to issues around Privacy and Data Sovereignty.
Make of that what you will, but if you work in the Public Sector and would like to take full advantage of DTA21, specifically as regards migrating Mobile devices from anything to Intune, but feel hamstrung by whether rules and regs preclude you from taking advantage of it - we at Nine23 would like to offer you a trial of the only fully automated Sovereign Intune Migration service which is fully hosted and serviced in a ListX/PASF facility with SC cleared staff.
This has proven to save those Departments we have already migrated somewhere in the region of £250,000 per 10,000 devices over a 3 yr renewal, which is money and time you could then better spend elsewhere frankly.

Before starting a migration, it's recommended to have set all the prerequisites in your environment, so the service will work smoothly. We have 2 specific technical pre-requisite documents we are happy to send anyone who’s interested, as the experience garnered in producing them will smooth and facilitate the whole process.
?So please feel free to reach out to us here at?[email protected]?if you’d like the docs and any further information – you can?also?procure this if you prefer straight from G-Cloud here?https://www.digitalmarketplace.service.gov.uk/g-cloud/services/902717575914005
For Intune settings, please review the?2 files we send?and share with your technical team as appropriate, since they will be the ones no doubt who will run the migration tests.
If you go here?https://ebf.com/en/emm/ebf-onboarder/?you will find the deep-dive technical section relating to Apple’s DEP controls etc., and how the service works with that.
More information of the Microsoft pages for the OnBoarder can be found at:

?I look forward to hearing your views and whether you would like to take advantage of the service.
