How to have GEMBA observation with real facts approach

How to observed problem / incident on GEMBA?

Hi Friends, To get right solution of any problem / incident we have to observed things in reality & facts on Gemba without any conclusion and emotional interference.

Today I am sharing 5 points approach to observed things in real fact (as it is) on site (Gemba).

1.Periferial Observation : Observed things and note around the periphery on problem / incident. do not focus on only at point of incident / problem

2.Missing Things : Try to find out what are missing things in problem which were suppose to be there.

3.Shadow things: There are facts or things of which residuals and footprints are remained on site (gumba) which we call it as shadows.Try to find out those shadows.

4.Symbols : Find out logic or meaning of symbols available on site.

6.Compare : compare the facts / things on site with each other and note down the observation / interpretations.

With this note down the logic and conclusion of problem / incidents and if required repeat the process again if more details and evidences required.
