How to have faster updates on Android by various top notch manufacturers

All the top notch mobile vendors like Samsung, HTC and LG are having a layer of their skins over and above  Android licensed out by Google in their phones.  This causes the delay to  update the phones.

How to have Faster Updates

All the Android phones should run on stock Android.  The differentiation in various skins should be by ways of custom made apps which should be available in the Google play store.  These apps should be made in such a way that if they are installed to the phone of the manufacturer, they would do the specialized functions specifically for the phone build by the manufacturer.

This is being followed a bit by Motorola and also by Nokia in their N1 tablet which was released recently in China. The Z launcher of Nokia a right example of this.

Advantages

The advantages of this method is that there need not be a separate Google play edition of the various phones.

Customers who would like to have a pure Android version can have their own way and also customers who would like to have their bloat-ware can download the same from Play store.

I hope the manufacturers seeing this blog to think through on these lines.

The phone support also could be defined by Google to have a 18 or 24 month window where in which the updates would be supported by the manufacturer.

PS:  For my idea if all the manufacturers give me a dollar each on the phones developed and sold, I feel I would be a millionaire.................
