HOW HAS WRITING ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCES IMPACTED YOU?
I found this true: "Writing about your experiences is a transformative journey that can significantly impact and shape your life."
Allow me to list a few impactful and shapeful benefits. Benefits that became part of my life.
Many times after I wrote a story, I would reflect on the people involved and the situation again. I would continually find a deeper meaning in the story conversation and outcome. The possibility of sharing these stories with the reader with the hope that a story may change the reader's life is empowering.
2. Writing is a good way to improve communication skills.
The more I wrote about my personal and business experiences through story form, the more I refined my ability to communicate thoughts and emotions. This has translated into better verbal communication skills in personal and professional relationships.
3. Living a happy life.
I can check out the definition of "living a happy life in a hundred different ways" on social media daily!
Permit me to take a stab at it here in this post.
One way or a way to "live a happy life" is to interact with the people you are with in a way that honors them and yourself. How do you do that?
"be curious in the moment, be open to other thoughts and ideas, and be transparent."
Writing is a truly powerful teaching tool, and it can be a great way to improve our communication skills. But the mainframe here is that writing is a terrific way to live a happy life!
My challenge to you----write and see where it takes you!
