Google has launched BARD, an AI-powered chatbot, to join the ranks of OpenAI and Microsoft in the chatbot arena. Designed with productivity, creativity, and curiosity in mind while fighting against potential biases and misinformation, BARD is currently available for use in both the United States and the United Kingdom; plans are already underway to extend its reach across more countries as well as add additional languages.

Bard, driven by a research-based large language model (LLM), is an optimized version of LaMDA. It's been designed to serve as the perfect companion for Google Search, making it easy for users to assess output and delve into other sources on the web.
