As a creative entrepreneur, getting caught up in the comparison game is all too easy.
You see other people's businesses skyrocketing and wonder why yours isn't growing as quickly. You might doubt your abilities and start thinking maybe you're not cut out for this after all.
Or maybe you get so far in your goals, but you get paralysed with overwhelm or procrastination when it comes to the final crunch. You get to the edge, but fear stops you from stepping off the precipice.
It all just feels too unknown and too exposing.
If this is you, read on to learn three top tips to harness your inner power so you can stop holding yourself back and start achieving your goals.
STEP 1:
Be honest with yourself.
The first step to harnessing your inner power is to know that your worth isn’t linked to external achievements. It’s intrinsically set within you. You are enough, just as you are.
You have to believe you are just as capable and deserving of success as anyone else.
Spot the signs and be brutally honest with yourself (it gets easier, I promise) Is your tendency to hold back really a lack of confidence coming through? Do you have fears of failing or of being judged negatively by others? Deep down are you linking your worth to what other people will think of you?
Remind yourself about all the things you've accomplished so far and the value you’re bringing to the table.
Remember that you’re allowed to get out there and work towards your ambitions, even if you don’t always get it right, first go.?
STEP 2:
Don't try to go it alone.
When your confidence drops, procrastination and avoidance kick in. When this happens, it's so much harder to kickstart it back up on your own!
Get yourself?accountability and support.

So, find a community of like-minded individuals who will support your journey as an entrepreneur.?
STEP 3:
Do things differently.
Changing the script and the patterns requires action. You’ve got to do things differently, even if that simply means thinking about yourself and your situation differently.
Confidence work goes deep, so start spotting when you’re falling into the old, unhelpful responses and commit to changing it.
The magic truly is in the doing.
If you're feeling stuck in your business, know that you have the power within YOU to change that!
Use these tips to harness your inner power to start taking consistent action towards your goals. And always remember, comparison is the thief of joy—so don't compare yourself to anyone else on their entrepreneurial journey, unless it’s to inspire you!
