1 年Love this! This is great actionable information, and I champion getting the most important stakeholder input - but still not addressing the elephant in the room - how do we get those stubborn hold outs to give us their feedback... ? I think there are a LOT of orgs that get less than 10% participation in the feeback loop and that's just not enough data to convince anyone to change/improve/update conference planning. That is the biggest problem - not the design of the survey, but getting it completed. I've tried all the incentives in the world, including POS surveys in the mobile app - but the best so far has been witholding certificates for CE hours ... still don't get anywhere near a statistictly (is that a word?) relevant return. A few additions - to shorten your survey - use your membership portal, or conference registration form to gather demographic data not your conference survey. Multiple choice is the easiest - but always ask at least one "comment" question and be prepared to wrangle those answers into meaningful visual! (word clouds are great for this). Don't ask questions you aren't prepared to act on. Finally, use this opportunity to ask what other conferences are attended during the year.
