It’s not easy.
You have to work at it. You can’t sit back and hope clients will come your way. You will need to market yourself, connect with people, join clubs and organizations, and participate in activities you enjoy so your are organically meeting people you have something in common with.
It goes without saying you need to let your friends, family and acquaintances know you are in the business.
One activity I enjoy is working with a variety of charitable organizations.
No matter what that is for you, just do it. May that be golf, tennis, cooking, book club, and the like. When I am active in my charity work, I find I enjoy the like-minded people I work with when I am doing that work. Giveback Homes is one of those organizations.[1]
