How To Handle When People Bash Soft Tissue Treatments.

I am SOLVING the Pain Pill Epidemic?? Soft Tissue Injury & Inflammation Treatment Expert??Blunt Truth Teller??
Most things in life that are very effective and do a great job at fixing problems usually require some extra work and dedication to excel at. ?
?
Soft tissue treatment is one of those things that fall into that category. Soft tissue treatments are effective, they are safe and when done correctly they can have a very long-lasting effect.?
?
Here’s the thing about soft tissue treatments…?
?
You have to work hard and dedicate yourself to getting better at it, day in and day out. The reward for that hard work and dedication is you will be able to help people that are injured and in pain feel better and function better.?
?
When someone can get out of pain, without the use of drugs or surgeries in a safe manner they can get their life back and avoid bigger problems down the road like surgeries and pain-pills.?
?
The ability to be able to give someone a pain-free life just using your hands is something truly amazing and special and is definitely a skill that comes with time and practice and a shit load of practice.?
?
The problem we run into in society, and it is no different from any injury practitioners out there is that we are looking for the gimmick, quick fix, or “hack” to get to the result sooner and with less pain.?
?
Sorry to burst your bubble but the quick fix and gimmicks just really don’t work.?
?
Many people out there just flat out suck at soft tissue treatment simply because they haven’t put in the time or energy to get better. It is just like learning an instrument and you have to practice every day and get better. The people out there that tend to bash soft tissue treatments by saying that “it doesn’t work” are the same ones looking for the quick fix or easy way out and instead of being honest with where they are at and admitting they suck at something they go to a bashing mentality.?
?
Trust me its a lot easier to throw some tape on there, run over it with laser, give an adjustment, or coach some exercise on an injury, but is it really going to help the client to get better or contribute to your illusion that you just are lazy as a practitioner and don’t really care about getting your client better? ?

4 年Thank you for taking the time to post your article. I absolutely agree. Unfortunately so many people select this profession for the wrong reason and yes, many are just plain lazy. I have such a strong passion for what I do. If I desire to help relieve physical pain, stress induced muscular pain with intentional therapy, I must strive to improve. I take as much time as possible to research and educate. So, once again, thank you.
