The IRS sends letters/ Notices for different reasons. Most individual associate an IRS notice or letter to bad news and this in many cases lead to inaction which may make a simple case more complicated.

The IRS will explain to you why the letter has been sent and all you need to do is follow the instruction on the letter/notice.

Some of the reasons for a letter or notices include.
