How to Handle the Haters

I’m in hot water again with the haters.?

You know I’ve got more than my share of haters.? I don’t care if you like me or not.? I’m not here to satisfy you.? I’m here to move a handful of people to start thinking 10X.

If you’re making 400 grand, I want you to start thinking, “How do I make $4 million?”? How do I make $40 million?? How do I make $400 million?? How do I make $4 billion?”

Going 10X requires you to make a commitment and get creative.? Creativity follows commitment.? It requires you to ask, “How do I operate at a massive level that is always changing?”? That’s what I wrote about in “The 10X Rule.”

I always get someone saying, “Bro… if I wrote the book, it would be called the 11X Rule.”

That’s because you don’t understand 10X Dude…?

10X is a multiplier.? 10X is not additive, it’s multiplication.? When you start thinking 10X you have to go beyond mechanics.? You have to think outside the lines.? And when you start thinking 10X and taking massive action, you’re going to have your haters.

“Haters are going to hate.”

You are always going to have people who are envious, bitter, and threatened by anyone successful.? These people produce nothing themselves.? They only try to stop those who do.??

What separates the haters from the naysayers is the intention behind their negativity. The naysayer is usually someone close to you who wants the best for you.?

The haters, on the other hand, don’t want you to succeed.? They want you to fail.? The haters are much easier to identify because they don’t want the best for you. They will lie and cheat.?

Your job is to obsess on 10X and not cave in or get distracted by the haters.? The only thing they produce in life is hate.? Because they can’t create anything, they spend their time trying to stop those who do.??

“Haters are going to hate, while the obsessed are going to create.”

I have had many haters in my life and I am convinced I would not be where I am today without them.? All of them have contributed to my success.?

Haters are always saying more about themselves than they are saying about the person they are hating on.?

When they say, “He is so cocky, showing off on his Gulfstream!”? It really means they are wondering why they don’t have a jet.?

When they say, “He talks about money all the time!”? It really means they are wondering why they don’t have enough money.

When they say, “He promotes himself too much.”? It means they are wondering why they don’t promote themselves enough.

When they hate on me, they’re trying to make sense of why they quit.

If you don’t have haters, you are not thinking 10X.? If you don’t collect haters, you aren’t doing enough.? Getting haters is a sign you are onto something and making big things happen.?

Haters will promote you more than even your biggest fans

Having people say nasty, untrue things about you comes with success.? I have come to embrace my haters.? They promote me for free at the expense of their time and energy.? And remember, when haters are hating, they aren’t creating.

When people hate on me in public, they are promoting me, my name, and my brand.? Please write about me.? Tell the world why you disagree with me.? Because love me or hate me, at least you know me.

When haters publicly lose their minds because you are doing the impossible, they are promoting you all the more.? The more successful I am, the more the haters scream about me.? I always tell people, “If I could get half of the people in the United States to hate me, I could be the president!”

Haters give you fuel to create

Use the negative energy haters provide you to fuel something creative.? My response is not to block or ban a hater. Instead, I use their hate as inspiration to create.?

You’ve got to push through all the doubts and confusion they throw at you.

When I first started using social media,? several “experts” used me as an example of what not to do on social media.? My response was not to attack them back or debate them.? I simply concluded that their hating on me was an indication that I was doing the right thing.?

I figured that if I did 10X more, then their complaints would continue to promote me.? Over time, my audience grew to the point where Forbes named me the #1 Marketer.? Those “experts” who thought they knew everything? They are still eating my dust.

Success is the ultimate revenge against the haters

If you want to create something big, you need to create new environments.??
