How to Handle Facebook,Whatsapp sales in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations

Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Retail Module has evolved significantly in terms of functionalities and Features.

Scenario:One of our Customer who is implementing D365FO Retail wanted to record sales based on Social Media orders like Facebook ,Whatsapp,Instagram etc .The Analysis should be included on cost and Revenue Parameter.

Lets see the configuration to achieve the same.

Go to Retail-->Channels-->All Call centres. Create a Call centre station for the division to accommodate the sales for the particular legal entity.

Create a Catalog for the same Call center. Go to Retail-->Catalog and Assortments-->All Catalog.

Source Code is a Functionality to cater different sources of getting sales in the sales Order .However Source code has the option to calculate the Cost and Revenue .

Click Details against a Source Code and enter the planned cost on different activities.

Now lets Publish the catalog and Record sales for the call center.

To record the sales in the call Center ,Use Customer Service option.

Create a Sales Order for the Call Center ,Select Source Code based on the Sales Source.

So Once the Orders are processed and Invoiced .Go back to Catalog Source Code Details Page for Analysis.

Check the Source Code analysis

Click the Graph Option for BI analysis
