The big ERP systems integrators can sure be hard to handle.
As a former Big 5 ERP consultant that now helps clients manage their relationships with various ERP systems integrators, I have seen both the good and the dark side of how big systems integrators work. When evaluating SI options, it is important to go in with eyes wide open and ensue that you know how to handle them.
If you are planning to use one of the big ERP systems integrators such as Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, KPMG, or EY for your digital transformation, there are a number of things to consider. Companies too often think that the big names are their only real option, but there are risks of using the big SIs.
Our experience as ERP expert witnesses and in helping clients fix their failed implementations reveal a number of lessons from working with the big ERP systems integrators. This video covers our clients' lessons from their experience with these SIs, how to mitigate those risks, and alternatives to the big providers.

5 年Serial number is indispensable in drug industry. Product size is crucial in footwear/apparel factories. I translate the episode at 03:40 "SAP R3 cannot handle item's serial numbers" to this: It is unwise to believe that a software like SAP's "footwear/apparel add-on" can run in drug producers/distributors or footwear/apparel manufactures. There is no wonder that Foxmeyer went bankruptcy because of SAP.?https://leanb2bbook.com/blog/how-failed-erp-implementation-took-down-5-billion-pharma-company/
Great video blog Eric!!
