On Monday, 27 January 2025, the 纽约时报 reported that The White House has temporarily halted federal grants and loans, affecting billions of dollars in payments. While this pause is being framed as a necessary review of federal programs, the ripple effects of this decision are alarming—especially for non-profit organizations and the communities they serve.
