The good news is, one doesn't have to know much of OpenStack code to hack into it.  Superficial knowledge of how OpenStack works is good enough.

Another good news is the techniques described in this video are useful across multiple releases of OpenStack, including Mitaka release.

I do not encourage people to do illegal hacking.  However, it is vital for all Cloud engineers (Cloud programmers, Data Center folks, Cloud Service Providers, users etc.) to check whether this cloud is deployed in a secure manner.

Build your secure cloud upon the know how I have already collected.  Make the best use of it in a proper manner.
