**HOW TO GROW YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY FACEBOOK PAGE***

Growing your Photography Business Facebook page is really essential, if like me Facebook is one of your major sources of income, especially for wedding photography bookings, just one of my Facebook Wedding Competitions secured my ￡30,000 worth of weddings and cost me just ￡200 in advertising.

So here’s a few top tips to help you grow your page fast without spending lots of money on Facebook Adverts and over the next few weeks I’ll be posting more about Facebook Adverts and even recording a video to tell you how I made ￡30,000 from a great Like & Share Competition.

1/ Invite friends to “Like” and “Share” your page on their own Facebook walls and get them to comment to encourage their friends to “Like” your page too. It’s surprising how simply asking people to do something on social media actually works. Get them to say something like “This is my friends Photography Business Facebook Page, its fantastic you’ve got to check it out, he’s trying to grow his following so I knew if I asked my friends to “Like” his page you wouldn’t let him down, thanks guys”

2/ Invite everyone who’s “Liked” a post on your Photography Business Facebook Page to actually “Like” your page. Just click on the section below each post where it shows the number of “Likes”. For example you’ll see written below your posts in blue something like “Sharon Smith and 3 others” then when you click on this a separate box will pop up with a list of the people who have “Liked” your post, and if they don’t “Like” your page it will say “Invite” next to their name, so invite them. Then spend a good few hours scrolling back over the year, you could be surprised how quickly you can rack up 50 - 100 more “Likes” to your page

3/ Join client specific Facebook Groups then give free tips and advice to the groups followers. This can be a fantastic cost free way to grow your Photography Business Page. For example if you are a wedding photographer join several Bridal Groups in your area. Just simply type in “Bridal Groups or Wedding Groups” into the Facebook Search bar and then request to join the group. Once you become a member start to post useful information to the groups wall. Don’t make the posts a sales post that could get you banned from the group, instead offer useful tips and advice to build up a relationship with the followers then below the post include a link to follow your Facebook Page for more FREE Tips, Advice and VIP Special Offers. Advice could include, “How to choose a wedding photographer” or “top tips when posing for the camera”. Other groups to join could be Mother and Baby Groups or Working Mums Groups, these are great for portrait photographers, here you could post tips on “how to photograph your new baby” or “what clothes are best to wear for a family photoshoot”
