What is leverage, you ask? I define leverage as: ‘The gap between what you put into something versus what you get out of it.’

Said differently, output = how many times you do something multiplied by how much you get out of it for each time you do it.

The reason debt is considered leverage is because you can put a 20% down payment on a building while affording a building that’s 5X larger than what you could’ve afforded without leverage.

Leverage is the force that magnifies our impact, allowing us to achieve more with the resources at our disposal. The 4 C’s of leverage – collaboration, capital, code, and content – are the pillars that support this transformative principle.
