How to Grow on LinkedIn Fast

How to Grow on LinkedIn Fast

I registered my account in 2020.?

LinkedIn was not my priority before.?

I did it because LinkedIn is a must-have for B2B, the right connections, and building my network.?

I googled case studies, best practices, and how-to articles to fill my profile correctly and discovered that this platform can decide many other issues.?

Today, LinkedIn has over a billion users with multifunctional features to achieve them.?

Organic reach is much better than on Facebook, and the audience is more relevant for B2B.?

LinkedIn has more trust than X (Twitter) after Elon Musk's significant changes.?

Video engagement cannot beat YouTube or TikTok, but remember that the audience is business-oriented.?

Fewer views are equal to more sales.?

Comparison social media platforms

If you read this article until the end, I teach you how to achieve your goals on LinkedIn.?

Share How You Can Help Your Customers

Many selfish profiles have information on how their owners are great, but customers don't care about others.?

Everyone wants to become great.?

Dale Carnegie published a few books many years ago before digital that all people should read about human psychology.

Any person is suffering when their loving cat passes and doesn't care when millions of people are dying in Africa without food and clean water.?

Nothing is wrong with that because it's our nature.?

For example, I don't regularly read breaking news about Ukraine.?

I'm Ukrainian and have lived in Ukraine before the war, and I probably should care more about my native country.?

The main reason is that if I read this terrible news, I spend less time on my job and show low results.?

When I stop reading them, then my job performance is much better.?

I can earn more and donate more to Ukraine.?

My real help is much higher if I don't care about breaking news that breaks my heart and negatively impacts my mentality.?

If you want to win on LinkedIn, share how you can make your customers great in the bio, about, and experience sections.

BIO and About

My bio is "SEO Consultant: Creating top AI & Human-crafted content at scale. No sales surge? We're yet to partner."

I rewrote this bio many times and spent many years crafting this short bio.?

This process reminded Mark Twain that he didn't have time to write a short letter, so he wrote a long one instead.?

Writing a bio demands creativity because you should hook your customers or followers with non-standard quotes.?

Mixing with your primary occupation is essential because newcomers should know who you are.?

About gives more space to write how you can help customers.?

Rewards and achievements are also essential to get trust and authority, but the main goal is to share how you help others.?

Submit your customer story of achieving success with your unique methods.?

If you need help finding ideas, ask ChatGPT to write a story from your data and edit it to get results.?

Commenting Is a Powerful Tool

I posted my first content on LinkedIn that didn't get engagement at all.?

This content was often better than others with high engagement.?

The main problem with new accounts is that the quality of your content means nothing if users don't know that.?

LinkedIn might share some content with random users, but it's more of a lottery ticket to win engagement without this experience.?

MrBeast shares his thoughts that it's so rare when someone wins engagement from the first piece.?

He was not such a person.?

Me too.?

How about inviting folks to check your content if LinkedIn doesn't recommend enough?

Comment!?

I did it.?

My record was +400 comments a day.?

All of them were manually written in popular posts.?

But I started slowly, writing a few comments a day.?

I read other comments, learned which comments get high engagement, and found a few aspects that can help:

  • Write comments on fresh posts. Posts on LinkedIn can live much longer than on X (Twitter), but the most active audience consumes posts in a few hours. Also, if influencers have an engaged audience, your comments can disappear, among others. Most people usually read three comments, and +90% read a maximum of 10 comments.?
  • Inspire others in your comments. Inspirational content gets three times more engagement than the rest of the content.?
  • Value. Writing for the sake of writing doesn't help. Bring value to others, and then users who want more value can open your account and follow.?
  • Breaking news. Sharing something new and unique will inspire others to keep learning from you.?
  • Don't criticize even if you disagree. Everyone loves their content and spends time crafting it. It might be right or wrong, but it's their opinion. Haters will definitely lose on social media, especially on LinkedIn.?

Remember to leave your likes with comments.?

A few great comments don't work, but a thousand comments can be a game-changer.?

It would help if you made a discipline and consistency to write comments.

Commenting also helps you learn what people think about content, which will lead you in the right direction for creating content.?

Crafting Art in Posts

I tried many times to find common things in popular posts but couldn't.?

All engagement posts are different.?

Users leave the platform if all posts are the same.?

It's boring.?

You can copy others to find your style, but the main goal is to be yourself and post content you like.?

Most content creators give up fast because they create content that they don't like.?

You don't need to suffer - enjoy.?

If you love what you do, then you never stop posting content.?

Choose the format first:

  • writing
  • filming
  • streaming
  • podcasting.

There is no the best format.?

You read this copy because I like to write.?

I stream with significant influencers and experts who can teach my audience about marketing, sales, and AI.?

My team converts all this content to audio podcasts for Apple, Spotify, and Google.?

Do you know why I recorded 700 episodes of my podcast??

Because I love it!

If you like creating short content, then, please, don't care about best practices, long content gets higher engagement.?

I know some big influencers never filmed even one piece of video content but got high engagement with a few thousand comments on their writing posts.?

Conclusion

Don't limit yourself to best practices or recommendations that LinkedIn is only for B2B.?

LinkedIn will also be a great place to start if you like dancing and singing like on TikTok.?

Just be yourself, consider your strong side, and enjoy each moment.

Greaat thoughts. I think it boils down to "engaging" not just being there.
