How to Grow A LinkedIn Company Page in One Month | A Case Study
Growing a LinkedIn company page is often more challenging than growing a personal profile. Plus LinkedIn has been changing its algorithm lately again.
I am sharing with you a case study of how I managed to significantly increase followership, engagement, reach, and impressions for our company page in just two weeks.
In 30 days period, I have managed to:
?? receive 12,3K page views (+113%)
?? 5,8K unique visitors (+130%)
?? 2.6K new followers (+122%)
?? reach 13% engagement rate (295% vs competitors)
?? receive 46.5K organic impressions
?? increase traffic to the website to 6K users (83% increase)
Here are the key strategies and results:
1. Establishing a Baseline
I began by analyzing and evaluating what worked well before, what I'd like to test, and what was a failure and it's a no this time. It gave a clear content strategy that was aligned with the main goal, which was to drive more traffic to the website.
2. Just posting is not enough
LinkedIn and other social media platforms prioritize engagement over mere posting. They consider how you interact with other content, your activity level, and whether you share and repost others' content.
3. Engage with Key Opinion Leaders DAILY
Identify influencers within your industry who have strong engagement. Select those you truly admire and like. It will make your participation in the discussions and intersection a way more interesting and you will learn lots of stuff from those people by just reading them every day.
By actively participating and engaging with their content and adding value through comments/questions/new perspectives on the industry/tips/etc, I introduced our brand and contributed meaningfully to discussions.

4. Thoughtful and Genuine Comments
Every day, I made 10 to 15 well-thought-out comments. These comments needed to add value and align with our brand’s mission and vision, rather than generic praises like "Great post!"
5. Tagging Relevant Companies and Influencers
Tagging companies or influencers within your niche, but not direct competitors, can significantly boost your post's reach and engagement. By tagging a couple of relevant companies or people, you increase the chances of them liking or engaging with your post, driving more engagement in the crucial first hour and promoting the post to a broader audience. Remember - the more reactions you get the fist couple of hours, the better reach & engagement you will get.
6. Testing Content Formats
Experiment with different types of content to see what resonates most with your audience. For us, carousel posts had the highest click-through rates and drove the most traffic to our website. Conversely, videos didn’t perform as well.
7. Evaluating the Impact of Links
While some believe LinkedIn penalizes posts with links, I found that engagement levels are more critical. If your post gains traction early, LinkedIn will continue to push it, regardless of the presence of links.
8. Prompt Employee Engagement
Encourage your employees to interact with new posts within the first 5-10 minutes. This boosts initial engagement and helps push the content to a broader audience through their networks.
9. Building Personal Brands within Your Team
Encourage your employees, founders, or company spokespersons to build strong personal brands on LinkedIn. Personal pages tend to gain traction more easily, and these individuals can interact with and promote company content. This dual strategy enhances both their personal brand and the company’s visibility.
10. Monitoring and Adapting
Constantly monitor the performance of your posts and adapt your strategy accordingly. What works can vary, so be ready to pivot based on the data.
Growing a LinkedIn company page requires more than just posting regularly. It involves active engagement, experimenting with different content types, and fostering genuine interactions. By following these steps, I was able to achieve significant growth in a short period. Feel free to adapt these strategies to fit your specific needs and share your results in the comments ??
