How to Grow LinkedIn Company Page Followers Fast

How to Grow LinkedIn Company Page Followers Fast

Is your CEO asking why your LinkedIn Company Page isn’t leading the industry regarding page followers? Don’t worry; you’re not alone. While follower count is often dismissed as a vanity metric, having the most followers in your industry can significantly boost your brand's social proof. It signals credibility, popularity, and leadership, which draws more people to your Page.

Ready to take action? Here are the three areas you need to focus on to grow your Company Page followers quickly.

This article is inspired by the recent episode of the Social Media for B2B Growth Podcast hosted by Michelle J Raymond, which discusses this topic in more detail.

1. Optimise Your Page for Follower Growth

If someone landed on your Company Page today, would they instantly know they’re in the right place? A strong first impression is crucial. Here’s where to start:

  • Tagline: Use all 120 characters to describe who you help and how clearly. If your brand name isn’t self-explanatory, include a short description.
  • Banner Image: Is your cover image compelling and professional? It should visually represent your brand and make visitors feel confident they’ve found what they want.
  • About Section: Ditch the outdated “all about us” format. Instead, highlight what your audience will gain by following your Page. Answer these questions: What do you do? Who do you do it for? What makes you different?

By optimising these areas, you create a foundation that attracts and retains followers.

2. Create Compelling Content

Company Pages have a bad reputation for being boring. If your posts feel like “stock standard” updates, it’s time to shake things up. To create content that grows your following:

  • Be Unique: Share a fresh perspective or creative take on industry trends.
  • Add Value: By understanding your ideal audience and their pain points. What challenges do they face? What insights can you offer to help them succeed?
  • Share Generously: Approach your content with a service mindset. Offer helpful tips and resources, building trust with your audience before they’re ready to buy.

Consistently posting valuable content ensures you’re top of mind and worth following.

3. Leverage the Power of Two

Your employees are your secret weapon for growing Page followers. Here’s how to tap into their networks:

  • Invite Credits: Page admins get 250 invite credits monthly. Use them wisely to target relevant connections and rotate Page admin duties to maximise reach.
  • Employee Invites: Every employee has 30 invite credits per month, even if they aren’t admins. Encourage team members to invite their personal connections, leveraging their closer relationships.

I enjoy your podcast Michelle they are bitesize, snackable, episodes that I like to listen to when I'm out on a walk. Employee Advocacy will always be a long-term strategy for companies but as you say, it's a two-way relationship

All solid insights, as per usual Michelle. As a solopreneur I still need to work on mine (big shock, lol), as optimizing and building out my website is priority. People are coni g to me largely through referral or by knowing me to directly engage. But this is a “save” for me as, while company pages aren’t why I’m contacted, employee advocacy is a large part of engagement and it would better enable them to support a company that has one on. proud display ????
