How Great Leaders Handle Adversity

Today’s podcast is centered around an amazing story about Sir Ernest Shackleton who has been called "the greatest leader that ever came on God's earth, bar none" for saving the lives of the twenty-seven men stranded with him in the Antarctic for almost two years. 3 key lessons are revealed by Sanger along with 1) the WHY it’s important to share stories with your team and 2) WHY empower your team to first take action to solve the problem THEY deem important. This always yields amazing solutions for the expedition or business overall. To Learn more from Dick, the crowd favorite of the CEO SUPER CUP:

Dick Sanger I’ve always been fascinated by this story of perseverance. May I suggest you read about the voyages of the Erebus and Terror to the Antarctic and Arctic 70 years earlier before the advent of the steam engines. They were the inspiration and model for Shakleford.
