This is how a great employer looks like: Managing Change

We are moving offices in Barcelona. From a great location in the center of this sunny city, we will move to a business park. We will leave our 19 floors high building and get 2 big floors in return. From personal offices, we will go to an open space. From a lack of meeting rooms, we will be offered plenty in different shapes and sizes. From a small canteen, we get the chance to share our lunches in different kitchen areas. An increase of parking space, a more sustainable building and a more inspiring environment.
This is called "change".
And then there are two ways an employer can adapt to this change. Either send you the new address and tells you when they expect you to be there, or they organize Let′s Move Together!
Let′s Move Together
Let′s Move Together is the slogan for the Change Management Team of PepsiCo Barcelona. And I am truly impressed by this group of volunteers.
Change can indeed mean great new opportunities: more space, more meeting rooms, more collaboration with your colleagues, being more inspired by our brands. But at the end of the day, it also means that we have to travel a different route to work (for some closer to home, for some it will be much longer...). This all influences not only your professional life at PepsiCo, but also your personal life.
I got to know PepsiCo as a warm and family minded organisation and around this move, it just got confirmed again. They take us by the hand, provide us with a clear and open communication, lots of information (e.g. TownHall, Q&A sessions) and we spent a full day around the new office; exploring the environment and networking with our colleagues.
A huge thanks to this team for making this happen. Let′s move together :-)
