How to Go From Text-Only to Video (Even If You Hate Being on Camera)

?? Helping coaches, consultants, and service pros attract premium clients & scale their business using video—without feeling awkward on camera—through my Rapid Success System. ??
?? You’re posting. You’re showing up. But… no clients? ??
I see it all the time—brilliant entrepreneurs pouring their best insights into long-form text posts, hoping to attract clients…
But instead, they get:
?? Applause, not inquiries.
?? Likes, not leads.
?? Comments, but no conversions.
If that’s you, here’s the hard truth:
?? Text alone isn’t enough to grow your business.
And in this guide, I’m going to share how to go from text-only to video (even if you hate being on camera).
Why Posting Alone Won’t Get You Clients
I’m Christopher Harold, aka The Marketing Superman, and I’ve helped tons of entrepreneurs—especially introverts—ditch the text-only approach and use video to attract premium clients faster.
Look—text posts are amazing for awareness…
But they don’t build the kind of trust that gets people to buy.
Here’s why:
? People Can’t “Experience” You in Text.
They can read your words, but they can’t feel your energy, confidence, or passion.
? Trust Takes Longer to Build.
If you’re relying only on text, it can take months before someone is ready to work with you.
? Video Builds Authority Faster.
People buy from those they know, like, and trust—and video accelerates trust 10x faster.
But I get it.
?? Video feels intimidating.
?? You don’t know where to start.
?? You don’t want to feel awkward on camera.
So let’s make this simple.
3 Simple Steps to Transition from Text to Video (Without the Overwhelm)
Step 1: Start with What You Already Post
Instead of overthinking what to say, take a post that already resonated with your audience—and turn it into a video.
?? Example: If you wrote a text post about “The #1 Mistake Entrepreneurs Make in Marketing”…
?? Turn that same post into a 60-second video.
?? Success Story: One of my clients, Sharon, was terrified of video. She relied on text posts for years, but once she followed this formula, she booked her first client within days of posting her first video!
?? Let me know in the comments—have you ever turned one of your text posts into a video?
Step 2: Use a Simple Video Formula
When I first started doing video many moons ago, I would just ramble.
I thought, “If I just start talking, the audience will come.”
Well, that didn’t happen… until I discovered this simple formula.

Here’s a 3-part script to follow for your videos:
?? HOOK: Ask a question or state a common struggle.
?? VALUE: Share 1-2 key insights (just like you would in a text post).
?? CTA: Tell them the next step—comment below, follow for more, or grab a resource.
?? Example: “Are you posting but not getting clients? Here’s why…”
? Explain the problem
? End with: “Drop ‘VIDEO’ below if you want a free guide.”
Step 3: Stop Aiming for Perfect—Just Start
This reminds me of my client, Kenya.
She was so hesitant about doing videos online.
She made every excuse possible to avoid it:
? My hair isn’t done
? My background isn’t perfect
? The weather isn’t right
But when I explained to her: “The faster you get the suck out, the faster your brand will grow and sales will come,” she finally took action.
Not only did she start posting videos, she posted for 30 days straight.
?? Her results?
? Her audience grew by 800% in just 30 days!
?? Your first videos won’t be perfect.
?? Your first videos might feel awkward.
?? But the more you show up, the more natural it becomes.
