How to Go From Back Pain to 5K

6 months ago, she hobbled into my office.?

?She had shooting pain in her right upper hip and on her neck.?

She couldn't walk 10 steps without the pain becoming unbearable.?

The first thing we did was assess what was actually going on.?

Doctors said she was having pain because she had 2 lumbar disc herniations.

That is not what I found.?

The herniations were there as per the MRI reports but that wasn't the cause of her pain.?

Correlation is different than causation.?

We found a few key factors contributing to her pain... such as brain balance issues and hip misalignment.?

Second, we laid out a plan to address the actual cause of her pain.?

Third, we created an actual routine she could do daily in less than 10 minutes.

The routine addressed her brain balance issues and misalignments.

After the assessment, she was already feeling better than when she came in.?

By the end of the week, she could walk a quarter mile before the pain became a problem.?

After 3 months she had no pain and had improved her fitness.?

Now 6 months later she averaging over 6000 steps per day, has no pain, and is more fit than in the past decade.?
