How GlobalGiving is Helping in Ukraine

Like all of you, we at Funko have been devastated by the humanitarian crisis happening in Ukraine. As a father, the images of displaced and injured children is especially difficult to watch.?

Our friends over at GlobalGiving have been responding to disasters and supporting emergency aid and long-term relief programs since 2004. They have facilitated more than $100M in disaster donations and have a goal of raising $30M for their Ukraine Relief Fund. Currently sitting at $22M, the fund is providing shelter, food, and clean water for refugees, health and psychosocial support, access to education and economic assistance and much, much more.?

At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we reached out to GlobalGiving about a making a charitable contribution to help underdeveloped countries deal with ongoing realities of a world that had been shut down. The team was blown away by their work and nearly perfect score from Charity Navigator due to their stability, efficiency, sustainability, and commitment to transparency.
