How to Give your best when you need it the most.

How to Give your best when you need it the most.

"The goal is not to be better than the other man, but your previous self." -- The Dalai Lama

One of the Hindu’s greatest mythological books “Bhagwad Gita” talks all about the ability of an underdog to achieve an impossible against all odds. Life will try to knock you down in every situation, get back up and try again.

World demands excellence, peak, and performance 24X7.

It is not always possible for a sportsman even like MS Dhoni or Kohli to perform exceptionally well all the time. Even in the Film industry, we come across many such incidents where we see an exceptionally talented actor or actress give a flop movie or a musician doesn't deliver a melodious song. Yet the enigma of fluent performance baffles us. How is it that we perform outstandingly well sometimes and fail miserably at other times?

Failure is an inevitable part of our life. It is upon us how we see such failure. With each failure there comes learning. However, we should remain conscious of the fact that we should never get comfortable with failure.

There are the following pointers, we should always keep in mind while searching for excellence:

  • Try to become the best version of yourself. The only person you should be competing with is who you were yesterday. For me, if in December every year I end up laughing at who I was in January of the same year, I have won!

  • Never compare! Especially with his/her social media profile. This is the worst thing which we do for our self-confidence. We are not here to please someone.

  • Excuses are the distance between where you are and what you want to become in the future.

  • Failing to plan is planning to fail. Success and failure merely output. What we carry in our hearts to reach that destination is conclusive.

  • Have faith in your abilities.

  • ?Every time you are tempted to react in the same old way, ask if you want to be a prisoner of the past or a pioneer of the future.

I would like to conclude with the words of Les Brown “Too many of us are not living our dreams because we are living our fears.”

Therefore, Promote your best qualities. Control the force of desire. Make a determined effort to eliminate lethargy and observe the effect in your life.

Good Luck!
