How To Get Your First $100K, $1M, and $10M Months
When you’re first starting out, you get caught up in all the wrong stuff…
Picking logos.
Making a website.
Putting out content.
Creating videos.
Even though you know none of that is actually making you money, it feels important because the big companies do it.
But it’s not. It’s an ego thing. Trust me…
We made it to 7 figures without a website, logo, or single social media post…
And we’re not special.
In fact, we didn’t have a social presence because I’m socially inept haha.
To make your first 7 figures, you should focus on sales and prove you have a viable product/service.
Simply identify the sales channels and processes that work for you.
And double down on sales until you hit $80-$100k/month.
Then you can shift your focus to product/service improvements.
Once you’re at ~$100k/m, ask yourself…how can you serve your clients better?
Where are your systems breaking down?
How can you give more value to your clients/customers?
Of course, along the way, you should be maintaining your sales (with a sales force).
Then, once you’re consistently hitting $800k-$1m months, you make your next shift.
At this stage, your business should be running without you. Your focus should be on things like:
Leading your team.
Establishing partnerships and JVs.
Capital allocation.
Salary, profit sharing, incentive ideas.
Setting long term goals.
Innovating.
Creating better systems, tools, and resources.
Of course, this is a broad overview…
But misplaced focus is the downfall of entrepreneurs today.
And it’s not your fault…
Your company probably desperately needs you right now.
If your business/team is completely dependent on you…we need to change that.
You should not be the go-to for every fire that pops up.
You should not be doing jobs that you delegated to your team.
Audit your time this week.
Get painful clarity on all the urgent fires and tasks that are actually being prioritized.
Then make the decision to change.
It’s time to focus on the right things at the right time.
Your journey to $100k per month needs to be sales focused.
Your journey to $1m per month needs to be product/service focused.
Your journey to $10m per month needs to be leadership/strategy focused.
If you need help along the way, we’re here for you.
Here’s a behind the scenes look at how to focus on the right things at the right time.
I like helping people:)
