1. Write about your journey...you have a unique perspective that can give hope to a hurting world.
2. Write about the things that will impact the world by sharing your experience, knowledge, and wisdom.
3. Find your writing pace…dedicate an amount of time and then make the time to fit it in...practice makes perfect.
4. Be vulnerable.
5. Believe in a vision that can be different, better, and now.
6. Nurture your creative skills.
7. Have mindful time management: when you are writing, write hard. You can edit your work in the future.
8. Be the authentic you.
9. Use your inspirational moments to make your writing more specific...dive into details!
10. Practice using your voice for good to make a positive impact on your reader.
11. Make your book stand out: "Who am I speaking to?" Know your audience!
12. Bring your whole experience to the table…boldly bring it to the forefront and put it out there.
13. Get people results! Be nurturing.
14. Lean into the process; trust yourself and allow your genuine support to shine through your book.
15. Write about what you are passionate about.
16. Constantly look for ways to improve.
17. Allow your message to serve others.
18. Own your energy and your voice.
19. Just start writing and flow with it if you are writing fiction.
20. Have a path and an outline for non-fiction (at least know your start, middle, and finish).
