How to Get Started with Marketing Writing

"I'm not so good at writing" a friend once told me. "I'm good at organizing, managing, campaigning and customer service...

But every time I have to write, I sit staring at a blank screen." ??

We are expected to do everything and be good at everything. Understand digital and design and content and marketing. It's like juggling, but with ten balls in the air ???♀?

But lets focus for a minute only on writing. Forget the remaining 9 balls for now.

I am 95% sure that you're good at it. You're just scared.

(Let's face it. Maybe you're not Dostoevsky, but here's the secret, to write an email, a Blog post an Ad a Landing page, you don't have to be)

So what should you do?

Without unnecessary introductions, think of what you really want to say. In one sentence.

What's on your mind? Now write one sentence. This is your flashlight ?? It will remind you what you're doing. It might turn into a headline or first line, you can decide on that at the end.
