How Do You Get a Patient Through FeldCare Connects?

Once you’ve sent us some basic information about yourself (name, discipline, resume, etc.), our team will reach out to you. Here’s how you can go from an introduction to FeldCare Connects to accepting and treating patients:

1.?Initial contact call.

Our team will reach out and schedule a call so that we can get a better feel for your areas of specialization and your credentials – and provide an overview of what we do here at FeldCare Connects. During this call, we want to give you the opportunity to ask questions and determine if joining the FeldCare Connects network is the best choice for you.

Often, clinicians use the a la carte aspect of contract work to make more money, pay off student loan debt faster, or fill in gaps in their schedules. They may also use the work opportunities to hone entrepreneurial and executive function skills so they can gain an understanding of what it might be like to open their own practice one day.

2. Enrollment and basic paperwork.

If you decide to join the network, we will send you contract paperwork, get your credential information, and collect some additional information, such as your driver’s license and insurance details.

3. Training and onboarding.

Each clinician that links with the FeldCare Connects Network is an independent contractor. However, we also understand that entrepreneurs need support, and that is what we provide. Once you’ve officially signed on with FeldCare Connects, we give you access to our FeldCare University modules, along with individual classes and one-on-one guidance. All of the training is geared toward supporting your work with home health companies, providing the information you need to stay in compliance, showing you how to use the app, and giving you ideas for working in a home-health setting. We are always here to provide the resources you need to make your freelance services a success.

4. Open the app and accept your first patient.

FeldCare Connects uses the cliniCONNECTS app to show which patients fall under the parameters that the SLP, OT, PT, or RD has set up. This app provides HIPPA-compliant information to clinicians when they accept a patient, which makes accepting, scheduling, and treating home-health patients much more manageable.
